Water Testing
The Twin Hills Water District adheres to all local, state, and federal guidelines for water quality testing.
Our water is tested monthly by our licensed well operator for standard potability and safety requirements. It is also tested at other regular intervals for expanded parameters. We follow a strict compliance schedule set by the CT Department of Public Health.
If you require water test results for a real estate transaction or other concern, please contact our well operator: LaFramboise Water Service at (800) 624-2327
In addition, we file an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). The latest report is available below:
Water Quality
We are working with our association and the DPH to provide information to adhere to the EPA's Lead and Copper Rule. In summary, our system was installed fairly recently and does not contain lead or galvanized supply pipes or fittings. The personally-owned pipes and fittings in individual homes may vary, though. If you are concerned with the pipes in your home, we suggest contacting a licensed plumber for evaluation. Click here for more information (PDF) on Lead in drinking water
